The coronavirus pandemic has brought hunger to millions of people who have been affected by the loss of work and income. National and state closures have affected agricultural production and supply routes which could further the disruption in food access and hunger.
Food Connect has empowered hundreds of pantries, meal sites, and emergency response centers with access to meals and on-demand distribution. On-demand distribution to both meal sites and homes has helped communities increase food access to folks that have been affected especially hard due to social distancing measures.
